COVID-19 was initially seen as a respiratory disorder. We now realize it also affects the brain, our thinking, and our emotional health in direct and indirect ways.
This talk will explore how COVID affects the brain, including serious effects such as stroke and encephalitis. More mild symptoms that are experienced by survivors, including brain fog or COVID Brain will also be covered. We will finish up by consider the emotional difficulties that people experience after COVID and the effects of COVID on dementia.
